Mama Don't Take My Kodachrome Away

Walking the dogs, sunny, high seventies, very nice, and I came across a rose bush down past the park. I had the iPod, so I snapped an image.


Because of the way the thing focuses, the tiny lens and all, the effect was a dark b.g. and electric flowers in the f.g. It didn't look like that to my eyes at all, the whole scene was brightly-lighted, a summer's day.


A case of the picture looking different, and in some ways, better than the reality. Go figure.
